Full Job Description

Managing all GCC's field operations in a designated geographical area including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Paisley and Falkirk you will be responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of service for existing clients, securing new-business opportunities and developing our current portfolio of sub-contractors and direct cleaners.

With support from our Head Office Marketing and Customer Services teams this will involve visiting existing clients to monitor, assess and review service delivery, attending pre-arranged new business sales opportunities to provide quotations and up-sell additional services, alongside developing existing & recruiting new sub-contractors and direct cleaners to ensure best coverage and service delivery across all customers.

Working hours are typically 09.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week) but some flexibility required to align to customer needs.

The role will report to GCC's Operations Director

Primary Goals:

Covering a specified geographical area Edinburgh, Paisley, Glasgow, Hamilton, Falkirk, Airdrie effectively the M8 Corridor.

· Identifying and driving new business opportunities in the SME target market, supported by our internal Marketing Dept, in addition to upselling GCC's full range of additional and specialist services to current customers.

  • Developing existing and recruiting new local sub-contractors to ensure quality of service delivery across entire customer base.

  • Conduct site audits of current customers managing customer expectations and needs by measuring quality of service delivery, agreeing action plans with both customers and operatives with support from our Head Office Marketing and Customer Services team.

  • Being a brand ambassador for the company through all interaction

  • Living in Glasgow, Airdrie, Falkirk, Edinburgh

  • Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills

  • Knowledge of Sage CRM systems would be advantageous

  • Full driving licence with maximum of 3 penalty points, Managing: 1 year (preferred)
