Vacancy Information

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £12.00 - £12.02

This is a 38-week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time only
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 12:00-13:15
To start 14th August 2024.

Preston Tower Primary School is located in the coastal town of Prestonpans.  It is a very large school split over two campuses; We currently have over 820 children from Nursery – Primary 7.  The school was established in 2019, following the amalgamation of 2 schools. 

Our West Loan Campus currently has thirteen P1 – P3 classes and two rooms in our nursery.  Our Preston Road Campus has sixteen P4 – P7 classes. 

The Advertised post will be working within our West Loan Campus.

The Senior Leadership Team includes our Head Teacher, 4 Depute Head Teachers and 2 Principal Teachers.

Job Details

To supervise children in the Dining Room and ensure it is a safe, clean and pleasant place to eat.

Relevant Qualifications
A good standard of general education.
