Full Job Description

This role is designed to work within the Operations Team and is a key role to our business.

Within this role you will work as part of the installation/ fitting team to assist with the installation of Signage and Graphics.

Also to assist with the maintenance of Existing Signage install, manage and maintain a range of signage solutions as per client requirements.,

  • Day-to-day


  • Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meeting deadlines


  • Attend briefing meetings as and when required


  • Install signage/ graphics to the correct specification and quality following Artwork and specific job brief


  • Ensure sites are left in a presentable manner with the clients satisfied in the cleanliness of our works


  • Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects


  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment by following company procedures and wearing appropriate PPE equipment


  • Health and Safety

  • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment


  • Ensure all RAMs/ TBT are signed and returned to the Installation Manager


  • Following H&S Guidelines to ensure works are complete in compliant with onsite regulations


  • Other Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the assembly team as required to support short deadlines


  • Feedback any client concerns to the Head Installations Engineer, should they not be aware.


  • Carry out tasks set out to you by the Head Installations Engineer and the Astra Management Team.

    We are looking for experienced Sign Installers to work within our growing business. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is motivated, confident and professional. A successful candidate is able to handle pressure, meet deadlines and take direction while working independently. He or she will possess a valid driver's license and ideally a CSCS card as a minimum. IPAF and PASMA cards would be a distinct advantage, though for the right candidate, this training will be provided. This role will also involve travel throughout the UK and Europe as and when required., The sites vary from static poster sites (internal and external), Vinyl Logos, Vinyl print wallpaper, free standing totems, branding/ letter signage and special builds. It is expected you have great attention to detail, a 'can do' attitude, careful handling and an ability to produce to deadlines.


  • Working within an innovative signage business, you will be carrying out a high-paced, challenging, and demanding role, where the ability to work within and outside of a team is essential.,
  • Experience in a similar role within the signage industry


  • The ability to work in environments exposed to odour, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.


  • Able to prioritise and multitask in order to complete tasks in a timely manner

    £12.49 - £12.50 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, Day shift
