General Maintenance / Duties Technician

General Duties Technician provides maintenance services to the production facilities and the associated satellites. These services are primarily focused on practical work at the various production plants, including; general preventive maintenance, housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.,

• Ensure that all production facilities are maintained to a safe and serviceable condition, so that they can consistently attain their performance targets


• Ensure compliance to site statutory, mechanical integrity & preventative maintenance programmes


• Carry out routine house-keeping and preventative maintenance activities as defined by the GD work duties schedule in a timely manner.


• Support corrective maintenance work associated with plant and equipment failures (breakdowns)


• Work with the Mechanical Maintenance team to ensure correct spares parts and consumables inventory management


• Oversee LOLER/PULER inspections onsite

  Good interpersonal & team working skills (Customers, Regulators bodies, OSC operators).


• Able to work remotely and able to travel frequently


• Self-motivated independent worker


• Able to work at pace under pressure


• Experience working on industrial sites


• Industrial/Plant maintenance experience


• Driving License
