Full Job Description

  • To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement / Contract.

  • To carry out tasks supervised and unsupervised with training.

  • To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work as per the agreed programme.

  • To undertake maintenance duties in such a manner as to support the healthcare objectives of the client and with respect for the dignity and privacy of the hospital service users and staff.

  • To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools

  • To always operate with safe working practices with due regard to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal etc in accordance with legislative requirements and policies and procedures of RFM.

  • To maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the RFM Engineer's and Contracts Manager or sub-contractors of any follow up action that may be required.

  • To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.

  • The post holder will be required to maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.

    Knowledge and understanding of Building Energy Management System would be an advantage.

  • Ability to work with multi-technology systems to effectively deliver PPM and Reactive tasks

  • Experience of working within a Healthcare Environment (desirable)

  • Critical thinking and problem solving (desirable)

  • Professionalism and strong work ethic

  • Oral and written communications skills (desirable)

  • Full current driving license (desirable)
