Relief Social Worker, Justice, Western Isles
£22.63 per hour (inclusive of £1.42 Distant Islands Allowance per hour)
This post covers the core duties in Justice Social Work Services including the preparation of reports to the Court and the supervision of offenders on statutory orders. You should be appropriately qualified (DipSW or equivalent) and have a genuine interest in working with offenders. You will contribute to the wider Social Work services to support business continuity as required.
You will be a good team worker, committed to working productively and effectively with a range of statutory and voluntary organisations. Travel throughout the Western Isles will be a requirement of the post. A driving Licence and registration with SSSC are essential.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children and adults.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Hours are on an as and when basis.
