Position:

The Isle of Arran is a beautiful island off the west coast of Scotland, offering an ever-changing coastline, dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches, verdant forests, great cultural festivals and a wealth of tasty local produce.  We are looking to recruit a pharmacist to live and work on the island where you would join a fantastic General Practice team.

What you will do:

This is a pioneering new role and we are looking for an experienced pharmacist who is highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic.  You will be embedded in a General Practice team, working closely with the GPs and ANPs you would be expected to develop advanced clinical skills to enable you to deliver direct clinical care to the population on Arran.

You will act as an independent prescriber for scheduled and unscheduled care in accordance with service demands and liaise with health care professionals to ensure the ongoing care of a caseload of patients. You will have direct face-to-face contact with patients across the age and acuity spectrum, in multiple care settings across Arran.

This post will also provide a specialist clinical pharmacy service to the Arran War Memorial Hospital.
