Assistant Garment Technologist

· Create, Check and update graded specifications, eliminating potential quality issues and keeping our library up to date

· Undertake quality evaluations of fabric, trims, checking care label information and disclaimers

· Perform repairs and necessary changes in production pieces in-house where required

· Liase with factories to oversee production of goods

· Conducting fittings to assess the fit and function of the garment, and making recommendations for adjustments needed.

· Carry out QC checks on good when required and create comprehensive reports for relevant suppliers

· Respond to product queries, analyse product returns and faults and product detailed quality control reports

· Showroom maintenance - the sample room should be kept up to date and tidy, all samples should have the necessary labels. Ordering and monitoring the relevant showroom samples

· A relative fashion degree or relevant qualification

· Have a basic understanding of Illustrator and or Photoshop or similar software

· Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook and Excel

· Sewing experience is desirable

· Pattern Cutting and garment construction knowledge

· Good team player

· Able to work to strict deadlines

· Hard working, motivated and flexible
