Breakdown Controller / Call Handler

Due to continued growth and winning exciting new contracts RSAVR Ltd are looking to recruit 2 fulltime breakdown controllers/call handlers on a 4 on 4 off rotation.

The successful applicant will be the first point of call for major motoring organisations, members of the public and transport companies that have broken down or been involved in RTCs. You will have a confident and friendly phone manner with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Full training will be provided.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Receiving customer phone calls and offering customers support following breakdown, providing a professional service on the phone.


• Liaising with other recovery team members to ensure a rapid and professional service on the phone.


• Allocate correct resources to ensure that all tasks are attended by the appropriate vehicle and personal.


• Ensuring all customers are updated with the task progression, or any delays through to completion


• Quoting and booking jobs when required
  
  An Excellent communicator. Have a competent level of computer literacy.


• Have a high standard of spoken and written English


• Ability to work well under pressure in a a fast paced busy environment.


• Have some geographical knowledge


• Prior call handling/call centre/customer service and motor vehicle knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential
