Full Job Description

As Contracts Specialist you will provide the business with contracting expertise, support and coordination for contracted services activities. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Commercial and contractual aspects of Tendering, negotiating, awarding, and managing all contracts and major purchase orders.
  • Arranging project bonds, guarantees, and insurances as necessary.
  • Liaising with project managers and engineers to negotiate and execute all Variation Orders (VO) with contractors.
  • Responsible for tendering, negotiation, and administration of allocated Frame Agreements.
  • Analyzing commodity spend information, conducting market analysis, and developing sourcing strategies.
  • Assisting the contract holder with supplier management activities, including performance reviews.

Applicants should possess a degree in an appropriate discipline or have received formal education in Supply Chain Management (such as CIPS) along with equivalent informal experience. Candidates must have a basic understanding of commercial environments and knowledge of Supply Chain processes specific to the energy sector. Holding a Bachelor's degree in fields like Quantity Surveying, Business Management, or Law is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in subcontracting environments and previous involvement with marine and vessel projects is advantageous.
