Filpumps Ltd has a long-established reputation in the sales and service of pumps relevant across multiple business types, and in the private water supply sector working closely with customers to establish new water supplies and the sales and service support of existing supplies and water treatment systems which are designed to make the water safe to drink much like mains water.

We currently have a vacancy for an area sales representative in the Perthshire area.

The role is part of the business expansion plan to establish a Depot in the Perthshire area, initially it will involve Hybrid working until our new premises are established, thereafter you would be based in the Depot and supported by Depot staff.

You are required to travel both locally and other parts of Scotland to follow up and create new sales opportunities, speak directly to our customers, and fully engage with them to promote our extensive product range and services our company has to offer, and to establish their individual needs prior to sending an offer.

Our core services are Pump sales promoting leading global brands across most industries and including servicing/repairs, we are a major service provider for private water supply owners, including borehole drilling to establish new sustainable water supplies, water treatment systems ensuring their water is safe to drink, including installation and after-sales support. Our deliverables include a turnkey service including design, installation, and full commissioning.

The role is a business development one to supplement the business we already receive from across central Scotland and across to the West Coast including islands and down to the Borders area.

The successful candidate should have the ability to work using their own initiative and be willing to seek out new business opportunities using direct selling techniques, and planned visits with outputs followed up expediently to develop business relationships.

We have a well-established business in the North-east of Scotland and Scotland as a whole, and we seek to establish a greater presence in central Scotland, offering an extensive stock and product ranges so that our customers have access to all our core services.

The business will fully invest in you to assist you in successfully integrating within our business and securing the new business that we seek, including all necessary training on products and procedures to help you succeed and to provide Leadership and Technical support.

Essential requirements are the successful individual should live within a 45-minute commute of the centre of Perth and have previous external sales experience and enjoy meeting people and establishing business trading relationships.

We own and operate a CRM system designed to offer transparency of all sales enquires, outputs and progress of individual customers and enquiries and its essential that the CRM system is updated effectively.

We will offer the successful candidate a good remuneration package, including a sales commission incentive scheme for set sales targets achieved and further recognition and incentives for sales growth above set goals.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
