Full Job Description

We need you to help us meet our aim to provide everyone with access to good quality, affordable decent housing that meets their needs and aspirations. We want to improve the quality of life for people across Fife and we work with many different organisations, including tenants groups, to try to make that happen.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work alongside colleagues in both Housing and The Health and Social Care Partnership to support and promote independent living by providing housing advice, assistance and assessment.

As a progressive employer, we offer the opportunity to work in this role as a "blended working" arrangement with home-working opportunities and occasional office working as required. While the significant part of the role can and will be carried out remotely, candidates should be able to travel to and attend office locations in Fife as required.

The Person

You will be educated to SCQF level 7, which includes SVQ4, HNC, Advanced Highers or equivalent. You will undertake assessments of need and risk.,

    Experience of undertaking assessments.

  • Knowledge of principles of housing allocation and priorities.

  • Knowledge of housing types and potential to meet varying needs.

    Ability to travel within Fife will be appropriate for many posts.

    We are currently shaping our future workstyles however, in light of current advice, we are introducing blended home/office working that will include office access days each week with homeworking for the remainder of your working time.
