Part Time Duty Manager

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various shifts the day prior, the day of and the day after a wedding or event. Your main duties will include:

- Supervising and leading a team of staff members
- Ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Managing and resolving any guest complaints or issues
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations
- Handling cash management and financial transactions
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Assisting with human resources tasks such as hiring, training, and scheduling
- Implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services
- Knowledge of human resources practices for effective staff management
- Experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
- Proficiency in supervising operations and ensuring efficiency

Shift Patterns

As an event based venue, the vast majority of shifts will be at weekends - although there is some flexibility around specific shift times, this role will be working 2-3 days from Friday to Sunday, with overtime available on other days of the week. An average shift will be 9 hours in length.

Driving while not essential to the role is essential for getting to and from the venue, as there is limited public transport, and no public transport available for a closing shift.
