Part-Time Personal Assistants / Self-Employed Carers

Private employer looking to recruit a part-time personal assistant/self-employed carer to provide support to an elderly couple in Kettins (by Coupar Angus).

The gentleman suffers from Alzheimer's and the lady has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. The role will be to support the couple with personal care tasks, meal support and medication prompt. They will require encouragement and prompting with these tasks to maintain their nutrition and personal hygiene.

35 hours per week, 5 hours per day (hours can be shared):
2 hours - AM
1 hour - LUNCH
1 hour - TEA
1 hour - TUCK
Times to be agreed - some visits will be time-sensitive due to medication prompt.

Applicants must have experience working in the care sector and be a non-smoker. Applicant should be flexible, patient, kind and caring.

Full Drivers Licence is essential due to location.

Personal Assistant hourly rate: £14.08 / Self-employed Carer rate: £18.32

Must be part of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme or willing to become part of the scheme.
