An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 or 6 Midwife to work in NHS Tayside. This is a rotational post.

In Tayside we put women at the centre of our maternity service and, aim to provide the best care for women and their families.

We pride ourselves on the standard of care we provide to our women and their families and ensure high quality and safe care through strong leadership and a team approach.

We are looking for an innovative Band 5 / 6 midwife who is passionate about promoting normality in all birth settings and who wants to develop their midwifery expertise, to join our friendly, supportive and motivated midwifery team.

We are passionate about delivering safe, high quality services to our women and their families. If you can demonstrate these qualities we would welcome your application.

A band 5 programme is on offer to midwives new to our unit ensures their rotation is well supported, achievement of competencies and achieving a band 6. We provide a comprehensive in-house multidisciplinary training programme to keep staff updated and opportunities for further study are available.

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Various Hours 32 hrs, 24hrs and 19hrs Fixed Term for 12 months
