Research Technician - Antibody Drug Conjugate Bioanalysis

 

Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Science seeks to appoint a Research Technician with experience of chromatography, particle sizing, and flow field flow fractionation analysis of antibodies to join an interdisciplinary team of chemists, biologists, and formulation scientists as part of a BBSRC Prosperity Partnership award researching the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates. You will possess a science-based education normally associated with HNC level qualification or equivalent, with relevant experience within a technical related environment in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Biological Chemistry. You will have considerable science-based technical experience to support a range of laboratory procedures including the development of new analytical pipelines and frameworks for the analysis of antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates. Working as a team member, you will be highly organised with a positive approach to working in a dynamic research environment. You will work closely with industry collaborators from GlaxoSmithKline and engage with the wider UK academic landscape and industrial partners. It is anticipated that interviews for this post will be held in June 2024. The post will be available for 48 months in the first instance, the renewal of the post will be reviewed subject to review and funding.
