Retail Security Team Leader

As a Security Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's premises, staff, and customers. You will be an integral part of a large security team, directly reporting to the on-site Security Manager who is also a key member of the team.,

• Lead and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures with upmost professionalism, especially during high-pressure situations and when liaising with both the client and colleagues.


• Conduct regular patrols to monitor and maintain security within the retail store premises.


• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills that involve quick decision making and devising effective solutions.


• Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including staff and customers, showcasing excellent leadership skills, adept at efficiently managing teams.


• Collaborate with the on-site Security Manager to implement security strategies and initiatives, utilizing excellent knowledge across all security policies and procedures (company and law), and able to train others in their use.


• Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations for security team members, ensuring proficiency in various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, email, security management platforms, and incident reporting tools.


• Maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.
  
  Previous experience in a security leadership role, preferably in a retail or high-traffic environment.


• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.


• Knowledge of security best practices, procedures, and techniques, proficient in the use of security applications and technology.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
