Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals who require help with daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others., Provide support and assistance to individuals with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Assist with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any concerns or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of individuals

High school diploma or equivalent

- Registered with the SSSC (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
