An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer with key skills in Office 365, Microsoft Environments, Azure, where you will apply expertise in the Microsoft 365 platform and cloud tech.

Based in Edinburgh, our client is a leading renewable energy projects investor, owner, operator, and developer. Specialising in wind and solar power projects, they aim to contribute to the transition towards a low-carbon future.

Job Purpose:
As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll oversee Infrastructure Operation & Support, focusing on IT project delivery and support providing desktop and mobile support when required. Your expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud tech will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert in the Microsoft 365
  • Cloud IT Infrastructure Azure experience
  • Technical expertise in supporting Windows OS
  • Strong understanding of server and desktop systems
  • Enthusiastic, flexible work approach.
  • Solutions-driven with excellent customer-facing skills
  • Infrastructure support, on-premise and cloud.
  • Advanced knowledge of core infrastructure technologies.
  • Microsoft server technologies experience
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills:

  • Microsoft 365
  • networking protocols, and TCP/IP fundamentals
  • Windows Server, Windows 11
  • Active Directory
  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience in administering Microsoft Azure.
  • automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
