Your new role
Our client is embarking on a new project and is currently in search of a skilled Site Manager to join their team. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Manager and play a pivotal part in overseeing all aspects of the construction process while spearheading the project's timeline. The focus of the project is the exterior renovation of a traditional building in Edinburgh, which involves stone works and repairs/refurbishments to the facade. Duties include:


* Conducting setup and progress meetings.

* Ensuring that the project packages are on schedule and effectively managing the on-site team.

* Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Displaying a proactive, driven, and well-organised approach to the role.

* Efficiently managing the procurement and handling of materials for the project.

What you'll need to succeed
Having a demonstrated track record in overseeing construction projects is a prerequisite for this role. Additionally, possessing a professional demeanour and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a productive site and management team is crucial. As a confident leader, you will feel at ease conducting progress meetings. It is essential that you hold relevant certifications, including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), a Black or Gold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, as well as First Aid training.
