Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.  

The shift pattern is Monday-Sunday.

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Older People Services team, RAH.

Responsibilities are: to provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation to older people in Clyde, patient centred MDT working and to be actively involved in supporting staff and students. You will be professionally supported by a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to focus on both personal and service development to drive the OT/OPS service forward in line with Board and RCOT objectives.

You must be flexible, enthusiastic, innovative and a team player with well-developed communication skills.

It is essential you have a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the HCPC, experience working in the clinical area and evidence of relevant post graduate courses/ CPD. This post requires Disclosure Scotland check.
