Full Job Description
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy in the heart of Edinburgh, specialising in innovative and sustainable structural engineering solutions across multiple sectors, is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to boost their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for various projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Mentor junior staff and maintain communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in structural design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
