Graham is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Building Division in Glasgow, Scotland.,

  • Subcontractor Management :

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of subcontractors and suppliers for our Building Division.

  • Ensure full compliance of subcontractors with all relevant industry regulations and Grahams internal standards.

  • Collect and verify all necessary subcontractor documentation to enable seamless onboarding and project work.

  • Tender Support :

  • Proactively manage tender applications, working closely with the estimating team.

  • Source and secure competitive price quotations from qualified subcontractors.

  • Facilitate the smooth submission of tender packages.

  • Relationship Building :

  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, resolving issues promptly.

  • Conduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure high service standards

    We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our Building Division. The ideal candidate will need to possess proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within the construction industry., Demonstrable experience in a similar supply chain management role, preferably within the construction sector.

  • Sound knowledge of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to travel to subcontractor offices, construction sites in Scotland and occasionally to Northern Ireland.

  • Valid UK driver's license.


  • Essential Skills and Experience :
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices.

  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience using relevant supply chain management software.

  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel UK wide

    This role will be pivotal in developing a robust network of qualified subcontractors and suppliers to support our Building projects.
