Full Job Description

Enthusiastic and experienced home care support workers required for a busy but rewarding service within the North Lanarkshire area. The service currently supports a range of older adults and adults with complex support needs. The service is based in Coatbridge and Wishaw. Working patterns will include a range of shifts from 7hrs to 13hr shifts and may include a mix of day, night or sleepovers.

The current rate of pay is offered for this position at £12.34hr

For this role you will be expected to-:

· Have a good understanding and experience of supporting individuals with complex health care needs, addictions or a learning disability.

· Have at least 2 years’ experience within a care setting.

· Be willing to contribute to care plans.

· Support the individual with all aspects of daily living and personal care while adhering to Health & Social Care standards and SSSC codes of practice.

· Be able to support the individual to access a wide range of activities both within and out. with the care setting.

· Car Driver Preferred.

· Have or be willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

· Be SSSC registered.
