YARD / STORE PERSON

The Yard/Store Person is an important link for our Company and our Supply Chain function, by maintaining standards of supplies to our internal and external customers. Our customers rely on our stock accuracy to ensure that our Build Plan runs efficiently and as such our approach to our stores activity is focused on making good internal decisions and promoting accuracy from our team at all times.

The Yard/Store Person is responsible for ensuring that our Yard and storage buildings are organised, clean and safe at all times, will be required to liaise with our Logistics Manager and build teams to efficiently arrange movement, safe storage and counting of stock, and loading and unloading vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Picking orders according to picking list and loading securely for delivery

· Unloading and storing products efficiently and in an organized manner

· Working with other team members when appropriate

· Liaise with upline to complete daily tasks efficiently

· Logging stock quantities/requirements

· Moving and arranging stock both manually and using a forklift

· Waste management and recycling where possible

· Proactively keeping the yard tidy with good housekeeping at all times

· Responsible for locking up the yard

· Full, clean driving licence

· Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17.00 with possibility of overtime, a flexible approach to working hours is required to meet the needs of the business, · Company pension
