Lewis Capaldi has scored his second UK number 1, but before the results came in, Scotland’s singing sensation took a deep dive on s1jobs.com to research an alternative career in case his chart dreams came crashing down.
In a hilarious (yet explicit) video, Lewis urged fans to download his single ‘Before You Go’ while he contemplated packing in his music career and utilising his fantastic customer service skills to pay the bills instead.
Lewis was initially attracted to a Brand Ambassador position with Specsavers in Bishopbriggs. It looked like it could be a perfect fit, making the most of his natural charm, but it wasn’t to be. The job requires that you ‘actively seek to improve your own skills and product knowledge’ – something that Lewis wasn’t too keen on.
A counter assistant role at Kelly’s Bakery in Edinburgh also caught his eye, which given his previous experience at Greggs, he’d no doubt be a shoo-in for.
Sadly, for Specsavers and Kelly’s Bakery, Lewis won’t be sending in applications any time soon.
If, however, you feel like a career change is on the horizon we have thousands of jobs to choose from – check them out for yourself now at s1jobs.
If you fancy a laugh but don’t mind a swear word or twenty, you can watch Lewis’ full video on his Facebook page.
