The good news continues with growing interest from big business in Scotland’s IT sector.
IT systems upgrade specialists Agenor Technology has announced a £1 million investment in new software, aimed at increasing the efficiency of software upgrades for small contractors.
This will result in scores of high-value jobs in IT at its offices in Edinburgh and the Borders.
Meanwhile PowerPhotonic, Bloxx and Administrate have all announced a raft of new jobs, following a combined £3.3 million investment from Archangel Investors. Business services firm Cocentrix has also announced it hopes to create 1000 new jobs here in Scotland through expansion of its EU client base after securing a deal with computer hardware giant IBM.
With such high-profile signs of activity, the Scottish IT sector is booming louder than a bull elephant in musth.
