Full Job Description


Our client are a well known private and social housing developer who are seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technician to join their team in Glasgow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private and social housing projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schedules to support the design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans for private and social housing projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure designs meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and materials.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project development.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Assist in project management tasks, including coordination with contractors and suppliers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in private and/or social housing projects.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
