CHLH / 2409 / 30 Relief Library Assistant

1. Working as part of a team to deliver, support and promote library and information services to all
2. Running and assisting with library events and promotions aimed at various age ranges including children, teenagers and adults
3. Leading Bookbug Session for young children
4. Undertaking library routines including shelving, handling, stock maintenance, processing and repairing library stock
5. Inputting and checking databases and maintaining reservations systems
6. Cash handling procedures
7. Helping customers make best use of resources including e-resources
8. Opening and closing of the library when required.
9. Undertaking any other duties as required to ensure efficient and effective service delivery across the library network.
