    The Acute Clinical Health Psychology Service is seeking a Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist to contribute to specialised psychology services in secondary care physical health services within rheumatology services, providing cover for maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery and audit of the psychology services to include routine assessment, individual and group interventions, supervision, consultation and training. With the support of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, they will also contribute to service development, quality improvement and research. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career as part of a friendly and supportive psychology team. This 12 month fixed term post will provide maternity leave cover. It is part of the wider Acute Psychology Service which includes psychologists working in physical health specialities across the lifespan. Our senior management have recognised the substantial role that our profession can play in helping deliver strategic objectives leading to significant investment in psychology. Experience of working in a clinical health setting is desirable. Evidence of involvement in provision of training and support for multidisciplinary colleagues and of service development, published research and service audit would also be desirable.
