Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Worker based at Lamlash, Isle of Arran. 

What you will do:

To provide comprehensive support to the clinical and administrative teams, assisting with preparing clinical area, preparing dental materials under the direct/indirect supervision of a Registered Dental Nurse.

To provide reception duties and administrative support to the clinicians.

To help ensure the effective delivery of care in a supporting role to the Registered Dental Nurse and Clinician, maintaining an acceptable standard of Service.

To maintain Control of Infection procedures in the dental surgery and other locations including surgery fixtures, equipment, laboratory work and the decontamination and sterilisation of dental instruments.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Essential:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written

Experience of working in a caring environment/role working with the public

Ability to work as part of a large team

Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment fulfilling the requirement of the job description

Desirable:

Knowledge of dental paperwork, Microsoft packages

Experience in cash handling
