Commercial Director

Mitie Telecoms are looking for a Head of Commercial to join the team. Reporting to the Telecoms MD you will be accountable for the businesses commercial strategy and implementation.

What are the key responsibilities of the role?

You will drive financial and commercial performance of the business through the development of the strategy for the Commercial Managed function, drive and own successful downstream delivery, whilst improving commercial rigour and building a strong commercial function with solid governance and controls for the department and wider business.

Other responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:-

-Commercial responsibility for bidding and pricing, through to project delivery

-Risk Management and Compliance ensuring compliance with Mitie's commercial policies and processes, ensuring that delegated authorities are communicated, understood, and complied.

-Own the review process for contract terms and conditions for any business opportunities, contract variation; identifying any key commercial risks

-Laser focus on profit generation with the primary objective of ensuring the annual operating growth plan is delivered, and contributes to the overall goals of the business

You will have a wealth of commercial experience with demonstrable examples of relevant market/Industry experience. Your Leadership skills will be second to none.

Negotiation experience & growth orientation along with strong commercial competence, a consistent track record in driving expansion and commercial operational improvement are attributes you hold. Along with good communication skills and the ability to be a strong relationship builder and great influencer.

You will authentically network across the business with theability to scale support function operations quickly and robustly

The role will involve travel to our other offices and client locations so a valid driving licence with no more than 6 pts is essential.
