We are looking for enthusiastic Relief Community Development Assistants to join East Lothian's Connected Communities team across East Lothian.  Current requirements focus on the west of the locality in Prestonpans, Port Seton and Whitecraig, Wallyford, Musselburgh areas.  Working within a busy community centre you will be involved in a range of tasks such as assisting with bookings, community groups, café, COVID cleaning practices, admin and day to day enquiries. 

This is an excellent opportunity to support community members and groups through bookings and groups to improve their health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and support an extremely valuable community resource.  There is a mixture of hours available which cover day time and evening shifts to meet the needs of the service.

Job Details

To support and assist in the day to day delivery of front line Community Development services, in accordance with local and Council procedures.

Relevant Qualifications
Able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience
