Full Job Description
- Responsible for all aspects of structuring event driven hedges, in cooperation with broader foreign exchange (FX) and Rates structuring team
- Evaluating M&A deals and other major corporate transactions, providing input to internal stakeholders including the Deal Contingent Committee
- Acting as a key contact point for event driven hedges, coordinating work of local teams across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Americas and Asia
- Responsible for the commercial aspects of negotiating and documenting event driven hedges, in cooperation with internal and external counsel
- Developing and implementing innovative hedge products to address event driven hedging needs of the Bank's customers
Post Qualification Private Practice Experience in a Corporate M&A team with cross-border M&A experience - Experience in the M&A space including close familiarity with the legal structure/documentation of and legal and commercial risk factors affecting M&A deals
- Legal drafting skills
- Familiarity with derivatives documentation is helpful although not a must
- Experience of instructing and managing external counsel
