Salary: £28,191 - £29,907
Hours: 35 hours per week

One position will be a rolling temporary contract that will be reviewed in March 2025 with a 4 week notice period.

Applications are invited for the post of Early Learners Support Worker, Stirling. You will be part of a newly formed Engaging Learners’ Service that aims to support children and young people who face barriers to attending school regularly. This post is funded through the Strategic Equity Fund for Stirling Council and has a clear focus on improving outcomes for young people affected by poverty and facing other barriers to engaging with education. You will be dynamic, flexible, caring, supportive and fully committed to equity and removing barriers to allow children and young people to thrive and maximise their potential. This role has a clear focus on the holistic development of children and young people and supporting this development through work with the family and their wider support network.

You will have a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of this new service in Stirling with the aspiration of improving school attendance and outcomes for young people. The Early Learners Support Worker Service will be part of a wider support network in Stirling to support young people and there will be close partnership working with colleagues from the Equity team, Virtual Head Team for Care Experienced Children and Young People, different schools, other education services and Educational Psychology. As a new service, the successful applicant will help to shape the service and have opportunities for professional development on an ongoing basis.
