Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Internal Account Manager to join our team. You will join a team of experienced individuals and be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceed. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling or cross selling our services., The main duties and responsibilities of an Internal Account Manager at KCS incudes:

  • It is expected that, as a minimum, you will deliver the agreed annual sales target for the UK Automotive Account Base
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with assigned customers to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Service as the main point of contact for enquiries, concerns or requests
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our services
  • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and/or cross selling additional products and services to existing clients
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns
  • Regularly maintain the KCS CRM System
  • Prepare and present reports on account status, including sales performance, customer feedback and upcoming opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market developments to provide valuable insights to our customers
  • Assist in the development and implementation of account management strategies to maximise customer retention and satisfaction

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering an exceptional service to our customers., To excel as an internal account manager, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in account management, customer service and/or sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational ability in a fast-paced environment and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strategic thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Experience of the Automotive Aftermarket supply chain
  • Special Conditions: A valid driving licence and passport is essential as travel may be required from time to time as part of the role.
