  • Linen Porter you will maintain linen control report and record any linen abuse
  • Work to daily working schedules
  • Ensure that all linen is counted correctly and identify the differences on the daily control sheet.
  • Maintain security of linen room keys, and the linen room whilst on duty.
  • Ensure that you familiarise yourself with the weekly function sheet ensuring that all stock levels are correct and that the C&B department have their requested linen stocks.
  • To ensure that the security surrounding the linen service cupboards on the bedroom floors is adhered to.
  • To ensure that all security checks are carried out in the evening before leaving your shift thus ALL linen Chutes & linen stock cupboards are closed and locked of the complete building
  • Assist and be courteous to guests and display good customer care and social skills.
  • Deal with guest complaints/compliments or refer to senior management at earliest opportunity.
  • Work in co-operation with any staff and management
  • Attend hotel and departmental training sessions whenever instructed
  • Work within all Health & Safety requirements
