Full Job Description

  • Own the Data Platform Portfolio, enabling delivery teams to achieve business objectives and key results by enabling leaders to make great decisions, resolving issues as they arise, and enabling people to perform at their best
  • Run the organisation efficiently and within LSEG's budgets and controls. This includes resource and financial planning, managing risks and issues, and ensuring work links back to LSEG strategy and priorities for our customers
  • Contribute to making LSEG improve its ways of working. Fix problems as you see them and share your successful approaches with your colleagues and the wider LSEG community, Owns the delivery of daily operations, strategic and operational projects to drive the Strategic Objectives and ensure the operating unit is running efficiently, optimising company resources, and improving return on investment. Implement a governance framework for technology delivery and to ensure appropriate reporting and remedial actions are being undertaken to keep programs on track. Get results through regular collaboration and team work with partners in other teams and departments
  • Governance Provide focused support to ExCo, the CEO, Business Unit Lead or COO in the strategic, tactical and day-to-day delivery of commercial objectives. Establish the team's operating rhythm including the ownership and maintenance of the operating calendar, ensuring awareness and visibility for LT of important events and commitmentsPeople & Organisation Champion and deliver an agile delivery methodology and a continuous improvement framework to drive efficiency and enable business agility. Foster a workplace where people can be themselves and deliver phenomenal work. Manage a team using the appropriate resources, networks and tools to ensure delivery against objectives and to provide performance management, technical development, and mentorshipResourcing & Finance Ensures the delivery organisation is accurately resourced with appropriate planning for growth. Establish clear workforce plans, factoring growth and ramp-downs, and implement plans throughout the year. Innovate and cultivate exciting new solutions, utilising technology to make life easier for our teams, and share successful solutions with other teamsRisk Be an excellent partner with key suppliers, setting performance standards and handling the resolution of service issues. Implement actions to mitigate and decrease the risk profile
