The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of a corporate office environment. This position focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while conducting planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment. Using their diagnostic expertise, the Maintenance Technician will ensure timely resolution of issues while providing an exceptional customer experience. A strong commitment to service excellence, teamwork, and professionalism is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, customer service, and IT skills, along with a proactive, self-motivated approach to their work.,

  • Deliver high-quality service by implementing and maintaining the scope of works, PPM schedules, and data collection from contractors, ensuring minimal disruption to the client.
  • Use management information (MI) reports to assess operational results and take necessary actions to meet both client and company goals.
  • Engage with clients in a manner that enhances their experience, emphasizing quality, attentiveness, and proactive communication to build loyalty and trust.
  • Set and uphold high performance standards, holding the team accountable to key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly impact customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant company accreditations (ISO: 9001, 14001, OHSAS: 18001) and align with corporate standards.
  • Uphold total compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, ensuring that client services are delivered safely and effectively.
  • Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development that supports high levels of customer service.
  • Manage staffing approaches to align with client needs, ensuring the contract team is well-prepared and equipped to deliver top-tier service.
  • Adhere to HR policies, ensuring all employees are treated fairly and company standards are upheld.
  • Communicate company goals and objectives effectively to all team members, ensuring alignment with the company's customer-focused vision.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely, following all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client and staff information, always ensuring trust and professionalism.

    Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing, high-profile corporate environment, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, ensuring clarity and precision in all interactions.
  • Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor teams, while driving positive change and customer-focused outcomes.
  • Time Management: Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role, overseeing teams and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: A relevant H&S qualification (desired, not essential), with a commitment to safe working practices.
  • IT Proficiency: Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and communication.
