Full Job Description
The Directorate of Medical Education is seeking to recruit skilled administrators to join the team. The posts will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but will work on all sites as required by the nature of this pan NHSGGC role.
A key element of these posts is the organisation and delivery of undergraduate medical education within NHSGGC; but you will provide administrative support to a wide range of work streams within both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
You will utilising administrative systems (paper based and electronic) to support implementation, monitoring and maintenance of high standards of educational practice.
You will be educated to HNC level or equivalent, or will have relevant equivalent experience; and will have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills. The successful applicant will have previous NHS experience, in a post requiring a high level of responsiveness and customer care, and ideally will have experience in medical education or a similar environment. They will have good experience in supporting delivery of teaching/training where virtual methods are the primary route.
This is a pan GGC role and the postholders will be required to provide support on multiple sites. They must therefore be able and willing to travel to and between NHSGGC sites to work effectively in this role.
