Who we are:

We are Child Health Information Systems, also known as CHIS.

We maintain administration systems that provide a record for individual children and support a variety of related programmes; screening, immunisations and outcomes of the 0-5 child health reviews.

Although we are mainly office based, a large part of our role also includes attending schools across Lothian to support school immunisation programmes, which run from September to June every year.

Position

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary 37 hour Data Entry Assistant (12 month contract) based in St Johns Hospital, Livingston.

What you will do

You will undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties to maintain the smooth running of the department, such as; data entry, running and processing of reports, checking of paperwork, filing and booking of appointments. 

You will assist in manning the CHIS phone lines to the general public and health professionals in a professional and courteous manner.

You will attend Schools to provide support to the immunisation teams in the West Lothian area.

Expenses will be paid for any excess travel occurred.
