Full Job Description

A unique opportunity has arisen for a part qualified or qualified individual within the Actuarial arena in the heart of Glasgow. Our client, a forward thinking consultancy seek either an aspiring Consultant or Analyst (Either senior or not) to join their team during an exciting time in their history.

They focus and specialise within the Defined benefit arena but also have work with clients in DC and GPP/ flex benefits schemes.

Their vision is to bring their proposition in to the 21st Century and whilst well founded for several years, their changes have meant that over the coming years should you join now, they would heavily support and encourage any area you wished to go down and welcome fresh ideas - whether this be offering your technical know how or a desire to train to be a Consultant/Client facing and their flexibility is quite unique.

Due to the nature of the business the role would be indepth and diverse, utilising technical skills. There are various avenues to go down but for them, their desire is to find driven and motivated inviduals eager to progress their career and utilise their offering in a warm, open and close knit team environment.

To be considered you must have experience within Defined Benefit Pensions either as an Analyst or part qualified Consultant/Associate and would suit someone perhaps wanting to break away from the corporate world. Qualifications can be forgone for the right level of experience and enthusiasm and they would also consider strong graduates, but pensions experience is a must.

In return you would be rewarded with a competitive salary, benefits package and also supported fully with exams via funding and study leave to give you the best opportunity. Additionally they can offer flexible working / work from home long term.

To be considered for this role, or to discuss further opportunities across the central belt please get in touch with Alison Curran/apply as soon as possible for more details prior to submission.
