So, when it comes to your life outside of work, ask us about our flexible and remote working policies designed to help you get the most out of life. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Net Zero Energy Business. This position would be based in one of our core offices (Glasgow, Bristol, Stockton, or Leeds), with a flexible mixture of home-working and office collaboration time expected. We also welcome applicants wishing to work part-time. Are you passionate about Net Zero, and looking for ways to apply your project management capability to a Net Zero Market? Here at AtkinsRéalis we are at the heart of delivering transformative projects that are lowering carbon emissions whilst achieving future energy security. Our Net Zero Energy Business (within our Nuclear and Clean Power division) is actively involved in projects spanning energy storage (hydrogen storage caverns), industrial decarbonisation and green hydrogen. Our business unit offers a stimulating variety of work, from feasibility studies, FEED through to detailed design, site surveys and design verification. Your purpose:

The ever-changing conditions of the energy industry means we need individuals who can adapt, change and thrive when working in dynamic environments, and we strive to balance these demands with a focus on inclusivity, well-being and flexible working which helps to bring the best out in all our staff.
  • Our culture, projects, technical support and delivery systems will provide you with all you need to bring your best on a domestic and world stage.
  • As Project Manager you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle. You will build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure that projects are safely delivered to programme, cost and to a high level of quality.
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client, other consultants/delivery partners and manage stakeholder interfaces at all stages of the project. Supporting client engagement meetings, workshops and support the project delivery process.
  • Developing and agreeing budgets and managing/controlling forecast and actual costs. Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional multi discipline project team.
  • Managing delivery of project objectives in line with safety, cost, programme and quality objectives. Ensuring resources allocated to projects are competent and efficiently mobilised.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI's to improve project performance.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications. Coordinating and managing the change control process.
  • Identifying and monitoring project Health & Safety and Environmental risks and plan and implement any necessary risk mitigations. Actively tracking and managing project finances and invoicing. Preparing formal project progress reports and other reports., The UK is the first major economy to legislate for a Net Zero target by 2050. To achieve this, our Energy Teams are ensuring a mix of secure and sustainable energies that can meet our industry and lifestyle demands today, and in 30 years' time. We help to power our world through exciting new technologies and intelligent cybersecurity systems on projects that vary greatly in size, scope, and scale. So, you'll be creating the right safe and resilient systems across nuclear power, renewables, decarbonisation development, new builds and energy efficiency.

If you have experience managing projects, ideally in a regulated energy infrastructure environment - we want to hear from you. AtkinsRéalis are looking to build teams who can cover all elements of a project lifecycle - from concept to Pre-FEED, FEED, detail design, procurement, manufacture, construction/installation and commissioning.
