Sales Ledger Clerk

MAC Recruit Group Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be support a key player within the FMCG sector as they seek to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk on a full time, permanent basis within their Falkirk head office (onsite presence full-time required).

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the sales ledger function whilst assisting cross-divisionally. Key responsibilities will include:

• Review orders before invoicing and ensure they are properly closed for invoicing
• Analyse the "Goods Delivered Not Invoiced" report and take necessary follow-up actions
• Raise credit notes as needed
• Handle invoicing for hides and other sales
• Manage proforma invoicing when required
• Collaborate with the planning team to ensure accurate order invoicing

Person Specification:

• The ideal candidate will have a solid background within a similar role
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail is essential for success in this role
