Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, who will coordinate, manage and implement all aspects of operational estates by providing direction and professional and technical leadership across clinical and non-clinical services within the Partnership & HSCP Sector, including Gartnavel Hospital Campus, Leverndale Hospital, Dykebar Hospital, Stobhill Hospital and associated HSCP locations.

You will be responsible for ensuring national and statutory requirements and for maintaining all aspects of statutory compliance at Sector level.  The focus of the post is on consistent high quality service levels, improved value for money, expenditure management and governance of compliance management, providing clear leadership, mentoring, direction and innovation are essential to the post.

You must be able to demonstrate a record of achievement at an Estates Operations Management level, ability to meet strategic organisational objectives within large scale complex environments, preferably Healthcare.
