LGV Class 2 Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative – Waste Services (19/1080)

Dumfries

£25,509 - £27,162

 

 

Duties will include: -

 

  • Driving LGV class 2 refuse, recyclates, food waste and bulky goods vehicles.
  • Operate a 4 on 4 off working pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Collection of refuse and recyclates for disposal across the region.
  • Assisting with loading duties associated with refuse and recycling service if required.
  • Ensuring collections and disposals are carried out on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner and adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
  • Other tasks relating to Waste Disposal and Collection Services functions.

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Communities. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Dumfries.

You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Transport Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level. A full valid Category C license, Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential.
