Building Services are looking for an experienced store operative to work in a busy store’s environment providing support to our onsite teams.

The post holder will be required to work on a rota basis to cover out of hours standby duties including the opening/closing of Kirkton Service Centre.

The post holder will be required to provide an effective stores/plant service for Housing, Customer and Building Services and to perform such other duties associated with this work as per the attached job description.

The applicant should have;

• Full UK driving license
• Has knowledge and understanding of both building material and small plant hire
• Knowledge of multi trade materials
• Knowledge and experience of electronic stores processing
• Proactive in identifying ways of improving service provision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and elected members
• IT Skills
