Full Job Description

iMultiply is delighted to be partnering with a well established, independent firm of Tax Advisers, based in Glasgow, in order to recruit a Tax Manager to join its talented team.


The Firm


The Firm has built a reputation as trusted specialist tax and business advisers, providing services to entrepreneurs, business-owning families and high-net worth individuals.


The Role


The Manager works closely with the Senior Managers and the wider team to ensure a high level of client service and delivery as well as the effective support and development of trainees. The role will also encompass recruitment, client relationship management and business development.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Review of work and managing workload of self and others.
  • ​​​​​​​Responsible for following our Client Acceptance and Anti-Money Laundering procedures
  • ​​​​​​​Awareness and proactive management of risk across the Firm, to include technical and commercial aspects
  • Responsible for the provision of a high standard of proactive client service.
  • Responsible for developing strong and effective relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Supporting the motivating, managing and developing of team members, promoting a positive working culture.
  • Management and development of the trainees towards successful completion of qualifications.

The Person


  • CA/CIOT or QBE
  • Able to work with integrity and confidentiality at all times
  • Previous experience in a senior tax role
  • A people focus with an interest and capability to manage, motivate and develop others.
  • Results driven with the ability to manage and continuously improve both own and others performance
  • Good decision making and leadership skills
  • Good commercial acumen and experience
