Full Job Description

To be primarily responsible for delivering and assisting with the management of the ticketing requirements of a wide range of performances, events and programmes across the performance venues (Usher Hall, Assembly Rooms, Churchill Theatre and Ross Theatre) as well as Museums and Galleries and agency sales for other external event; ensuring first class customer care, client service, operational effectiveness and meeting the business and financial objectives.

MAJOR TASKS/JOB ACTIVITIES
Deliver the box office service through ticketing and associated systems and ensure that appropriate arrangements are adhered to for the effective implementation of the service across the venues.

Implement and participate in the development of customer care standards for both audiences and clients, ensuring that first class arrangements are made for the effective implementation of the service across the venues.

Undertake policy and administrative tasks that will result in meeting required service standards and legal compliance for hirers and ticket buyers relating to contractual agreements, legal obligations, payments, and other relevant obligations.

Ensure that all event ticketing information is shared and communicated effectively to staff, hirers and audiences through the most effective channels; and arrange for the safe storage of existing and historical data in this area.

Manage staff, rotas and training plans to ensure continuous improvement so that the staff, systems and associated sales channels are meeting the needs of audiences, hirers and other users.

Work with appointed external consultants and contractors as required, ensuring that Council policies and processes are adhered to.

Contribute professional expertise to develop the service within own area, with other venues, and across the team and division as required.

Work effectively as part of a team within own area and across the wider environment in which the post holder operates.

Deputise for the Ticketing Services Manager as required.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
