Full Job Description

As an Operations Assistant based in Ayr you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out general warehouse tasks, including booking in stock, putting stock away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse.
  • Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assisting customers at the trade counter when needed, providing prompt and efficient service while building strong relationships.
  • Operating a forklift, preparing order, and organising stock.

    Prior experience in a warehouse environment, with forklift experience preferred.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
  • Confidence when engaging with customers and delivering outstanding customer service
  • A driving licence is preferred to support occasional delivery driving duties in a 3.5T van.
